Our Three Tiered Storm Alert Service:
Email, Fax and Web Updates
As inclement weather approaches, our meteorologists will issue a Storm Alert. Your alert is typically sent 24-48 hours in advance of the expected storm during the winter and a minimum of 2-6 hours in advance of severe weather. Alerts provide details on anticipated arrival, intensity, duration, temperature, accumulation confidence and any other types of critical hazards that may affect your operation. During the winter, a second update is generally issued in the afternoon or as conditions become imminent. Additional updates are sent through the course of the storm.
24/7 Telephone Consultation
Need to make a critical decision? Schedule a crew for the morning commute? Or send them home early? Not sure? Give us a call. We can help answer some of the more difficult questions when timing is important and you need that professional edge. Speaking to a live meteorologist will provide you with an up to the minute update so that you can plan accordingly.
Pre-storm "Heads Up" Notification (Optional by phone or text message)
Keep your mind at ease knowing that your location is monitored 24/7. With our premier "Heads up" notification you will receive our pre-storm personal notification from a meteorologist 1-4 hours prior to the storm during the winter or up to 1 hour in advance for severe weather. Our breakdown of time periods during the work week, weekends and holidays allow you to choose when you would like a text message or a call. Do you want to be notified for damaging winds and flooding or just for lightning strikes? You set the threshold and receive only the alerts you want!
