Now that the final snow events of the winter season are mainly behind us, most folks are transitioning into warm season operations. And as the winter and spring season battle it out, the next few weeks can be especially frustrating for landscapers, especially in the Northeast and New England. Mother Nature often “tricks” sprouting flowers with warm and sunny days only to be followed by a hard freeze at night. However, by definition, the growing season does not officially begin until we have experienced the last freeze. Here is a look at the average "final freeze" dates along the I-95 corridor.
