Have you ever wanted to meet the WeatherWorks meteorologists you consult with each winter and learn what goes into creating your forecasts? Now is your chance! In honor of celebrating 30 years in the snow and ice industry, the WeatherWorks staff would like to invite you to our open house event on September 30, 2016 from 10 AM - 4 PM at our office located at 103 Mountain Court in Hackettstown NJ.
The open house will be an opportunity for you to meet with us over lunch, receive a tour of our office, and even sit in on education seminars, one of which will be an exclusive first look at the 2016 – 2017 Winter Outlook! At the event, you will learn about our operations and visit our Storm Center where we analyze weather data before composing your daily forecasts and alerts. You will also visit the various departments that make-up our company including our data, forensic and sales teams and learn about the various products we offer currently and what's in the works for the future. Additionally, you will have a chance to finally put faces to the voices you hear on the phone and the names you read on the forecasts. In addition, there will be two educational seminars offered. One will cover doppler radar including the best way to interpret radar data and how to apply it to your operations and decision making methods. Another will be an exclusive discussion with our long range experts on the 2016 – 2017 winter outlook, including a Q & A session where you will have a chance to ask any questions you have about the upcoming season.
We hope all of you can make the trip to our office at some point during the day. This will be a casual setting so feel free to stop by at any point, either spending a half hour or a few hours with us.
